Your palm is the target
⏱️ 3 min📦 nothing needed🏠 in or out🤲 on their back🤸 Motor
Around this age babies may begin to swipe at things hanging just out of reach, and the arm and leg movements are becoming smoother as they go. Your own open hand, held still just above them, is a target that answers every swipe with warmth and takes nothing to set up.
🧺 You need
none
🛡️ Your hand stays still and stays above — never press down on the chest, never push their arm through the movement, and never close your fingers around a hand that is reaching. Stop at fussing or a turn away rather than at a number of tries.
