Touch is one of the senses a baby builds their picture of the world from. Gentle, varied textures are a sensory game: they encourage tactile awareness and, in time, reaching and grasping.
🧺 You need
- 3–4 safe fabric scraps (cotton, fleece, satin, muslin)
🛡️ One hand stays on baby the whole time you're at the changing table — the first roll always comes on a day nobody predicted. And the scraps go back in the drawer afterwards: loose fabric near a sleeping or unattended baby isn't a toy.
