The same three words before every lift
Stable routines let a baby anticipate what is about to happen, and knowing what comes next is what gives them security. Being picked up is the thing that happens to them most often and announces itself least.

๐ก๏ธ Both hands, every time โ one under the head and neck, one under the bottom โ and never a lift by the hands, the arms or under the armpits alone at this age. Wait for their body to settle after the warning before you move them, and never lift from a surface you would not leave them lying on.
