You need
baby-safe (non-glass) mirror
How
During tummy time or held upright, put a baby-safe mirror ~25 cm from baby's face. Let them study the "other baby". Name what they see: "there are your eyes!". No self-recognition expected β fascination is the goal.
Why this matters
Faces are the most information-rich stimulus for infants, and the mirror delivers a perfectly synced, endlessly patient one. It feeds face-processing circuits and doubles as premium tummy-time motivation.
