How
Narrate routines like a friendly commentator: "Now I'm lifting you up β up we go! Warm water on your feetβ¦". Use short sentences, name objects and feelings, and leave gaps after questions even though baby can't answer yet.
Why this matters
Language grows on sheer quantity and quality of speech heard long before first words; narration during care routines is the easiest reliable way to raise the daily word count without extra time.
